Dining + Design is back!
Atlanta foodies and design enthusiasts are invited to Dining + Design at White Provision on Atlanta’s Westside this Wednesday, October 28th. Guests will first hear background on the adaptive reuse property White Provision from its developer, Chris Faussemagne. Next, attendees will stroll to West Egg’s fried chicken-themed pop-up Oddbird for snacks; then to cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at Ford Fry’s Marcel restaurant, and end at Victory Brands’ new Little Trouble cocktail bar for more bites and a nightcap. Along the way, guests will also hear from Chef Ford Fry, restaurateur and designer Ian Jones, and designers from local architecture, planning, and design firm Square Feet Studio.
There are only 45 tickets available for this event. Please see here to reserve. The $55 ticket price includes the walking tour, bites, and drinks from Oddbird, Little Trouble, and Marcel. The rain-or-shine event will begin at 6:00pm and end at or around 9:00pm.
About White Provision
Back when Ponce City Market was still City Hall East, another Jamestown-owned property set a high bar for adaptive reuse in Atlanta and catalyzed a string of urban revitalization on the other side of the connector. The White Provision complex was reimagined in 2008 after more than a century of various uses, including as a meat packing facility. It has since hosted some of Altanta’s best restaurants, bars, and shops in addition to continuously showcasing design potential in Atlanta.

With generous support from MailChimp, Dining + Design Westside is the third in the popular event series from the Atlanta Architecture and Design Center (ADC). The Dining + Design series is intended to be fun and educational, providing a venue for celebrating the Greater Atlanta community’s thriving and nationally significant restaurant scene while also exploring the role of design in creating the environments that support it. Efforts for the Dining + Design event series are headed up by John Bencich, Cofounder and Principal of Square Feet Studio—an Atlanta-based, award-winning architecture, planning and design firm.

All proceeds from the event will go to support future programming by the ADC and Dining + Design. Created in 2012, the ADC is dedicated to raising awareness about design in Atlanta and its impact on our lives, and giving people the tools they need to advocate for better design.
